Warranty coverage.
To complain about possible defects in a product covered by the warranty, the original purchase invoice must be attached. As such, Elisabed is committed to repair or replace any of the damaged parts of the product free of charge, provided that they are manufacturing defects.
The decision to repair or replace defective products will be made by Elisabed Quality Team, and it will take into account the nature of the product.
All Elisabed products have a 2 year guarantee.
Not included in the warranty.
Any defects due to improper use, bad storage, dirt, use of excessive force, water or fire damage, excessive loads, humidity or stains on the mattress, use of chemical products, or repairs made by third, unauthorised parties will be excluded from the warranty.
If your mattress gets damaged due to using it on a damaged or unsuitable bed base, the repairs won’t be covered by the guarantee either.
Any holes, stains on the fabric, loose threads or other similar imperfections on the fabrics have to be reported at the time of delivery or within the next 24-48 hours. Otherwise, it will not be considered a production defect.
Use of the mattress without a suitable or deformed base.
The tolerances with respect to length, width, and thickness sizes will admit variations of +/- 3 cm. Any request for changes or refunds due to reportedly wrong sizes that turn out to be within this legal tolerances won’t be accepted as faulty products.
From the beginning of the use of the mattress there is a normal settlement of the internal layers that varies between +0/-2 cm ( standard UNE-EN 1334:1996 ). This is a totally normal circumstance and does not give any right to reparation or compensation.
The use of breathable protectors is mandatory for all mattresses. Mattresses with inadequate protection are exempt from warranty.
Deterioration caused by non-compliance with usage regulations.
Usage rules.
- Do not jump or stand on the mattress. It can cause shape malformations.
- Bending the corners of the mattress can be harmful.
- A base in bad condition will damage your mattress. Check your bed before using a new mattress with it.
- It is advisable to keep the mattress clean and protected from humidity and external agents with a breathable cover.
- It is important and recommended to use a base, bed base or canapé from the same house and of the same size as the mattress.
- It is convenient to change the position of the mattress every month, turning it around and flipping it. Do not flip mattresses tagged as non-reversible, no-turn or single-side.
